Biography
Erica is a seagoing marine geology technician, with experience in the Southern Ocean, Antarctica, and the South Pacific. Erica's work at NIWA encompasses multibeam echosounder operation and processing, GIS mapping and spatial analysis, sediment coring and seafloor sampling, DART mooring deployment and recovery. Prior to working at NIWA, Erica was a client rep on marine geophysical surveys for offshore energy in Australia. Erica's PhD explored multi-frequency analysis of seafloor fluid expulsion.
