Biography
I am a part of the Population Modelling group within the Fisheries Centre at NIWA. I use spatial modelling approaches to study New Zealand fish populations, specialising in species distribution modelling of freshwater fish. I use modelling techniques such as the vector autoregressive spatio-temporal (VAST) modelling platform to understand the spatio-temporal distribution and abundance of fish.
