Biography
Dr Simon Hoyle is a quantitative ecologist and population modeller based at NIWA Nelson. His research addresses the assessment and management of wild populations. He is an expert in statistical modelling of data on catch rates (CPUE), size, maturity, and other biological characteristics; tagging data; and methods for including these data in population models and fish stock assessments.
