Beneath the waves: Kapiti

Kapiti Island is an ecologically significant nature reserve located only 30 km from New Zealand's capital city along Te Ika a Māui/North Island's coastline. It is partially surrounded by the Kapiti Marine Reserve, which was established in May 1992. The seafloor surrounding the island is of significant cultural and environmental value, and is a popular recreational dive site. Knowledge of seafloor topography and habitat are prerequisites for robust, evidence-based and sustainable management of this iconic seascape. Published in 2017, the poster is approximately 60 cm x 85 cm. $30 (plus $5 for overseas orders).
