Science and Technology Fairs
NIWA is the major sponsor for many Regional Science and Technology Fairs.
NIWA Science & Technology Fairs
NIWA is a major sponsor of the Auckland, Waikato, Wellington and Bay of Plenty – Science & Technology Fairs. NIWA has a core interest in promoting science careers and this sponsorship is part of our long-term commitment to enhancing science and technology for young New Zealanders.
In 2009 more than 1800 students from 120 schools contributed to one of the four NIWA Fairs with more than 1000 exhibits entered covering all areas of science and technology. Student exhibits are only limited by ones imagination and the fairs give an opportunity for students to gain recognition for excellence and innovation. We wish all students the best of luck with their entries in 2010.
