Biography

My background is hydrological and water quality modelling. I am interested in applying numerical models to predict water quantity and water quality, and evaluate the effect of different changes in catchments (changes in climate, land use and management practices) on water quality. My main modelling software is the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) which I have had 10-year experience in applying and modifying its Fortran code. Before joining NIWA, I spent 3 years as a postdoc researcher at City University of New York and New York City Department of Environmental Protection to work on catchment modelling for the New York City water supply system.
