Customer Focus Award winner: Ned Norton, River Ecosystems and Resource Management, Christchurch.
Ned received the Customer Focus Excellence Award for understanding the customer’s needs, contributing to the success of the Land and Water Forum, which was set up to find common solutions to water issues among all those with an interest in water.
Ned translated the science of water for planners and decision-makers, and explained the application of scientific uncertainty and the limits of knowledge in making decisions on freshwater management.
