QTC Impact
QTC Impact is a benthic-habitat mapping tool which, in combination with ground-truthing approaches such as video cameras and benthic grab samplers, allows high-quality benthic habitat information to be collected over large spatial scales. It can also be deployed to generate habitat maps that provide the stratification basis on which to assess animal populations using appropriate sampling tools, to assess impacts such as sedimentation plumes from run-off, and to directly map high-density animal populations such as mussel beds.
