About the Environment Watch CDs
The Environment Watch CDs provide a series of environmental education resources intended for use by community groups, environmental educators, and secondary schools. NIWA has produced the series based on Environment Watch items from the TV3 programme No8 Wired, produced by the Gibson Group and sponsored by Sustanza.
The CDs include student worksheets for each topic and identify relevant objectives in the NZ secondary school curriculum.
Ordering CDs
An initial 500 CDs will be provided free to all New Zealand secondary schools and a range of education/farm advisory agencies. After these have been distributed, additional sets will be available for purchase from NIWA at $30 per set of 6 CDs. So be in quick! If you’re not affiliated with a school or education/farm advisory agency, then you’ll have to pay for your set. Order form
