An overview of the present climate in the tropical South Pacific Islands, with an outlook for the coming months, to assist in dissemination of climate information in the Pacific region 

El Niño/Southern Oscillation (ENSO) Multiple ENSO indicators show La Niña is re-emerging in theEquatorial Pacific Ocean. Many dynamical and statistical climate models suggest La Nina will continue to develop during late spring, and into early summer. Summary of tropical cyclone activity for 2010 -11 season
The tropical Pacific is moving back towards La Niñaconditions. 
The tropical cyclone season for 2010–11 has now closed.
A La Nina pattern is re-emerging in the ensemble ofglobal climate forecasts.
